In direct response to public inquiries made regarding Raider Project's Raider 7 Memorial Funds and expenses the following detailed overview has been completed and is available at: www.raiderproject.org/raider-7
Below we have listed each item and quantity sold as well as the price it at which it was sold, resulting in gross revenue.
This remaining unsold merchandise was a result of a later run of shirts that was pulled due to a direct brand/company request to be removed from further/continued runs of the Raider 7 shirt production as well as Raider Project's caution surrounding the possibility of trademark infringement. All unsold Raider 7 shirts were donated to veterans and the 2nd Marine Raider Bn.
The Raider 7 Memorial Apparel endeavor was put together by the Raider Project immediately following the tragedy. The Raider Project consists of a very small team of staff and volunteers.
The Raider Project's goal was to first respond to immediate needs that arose among Raider 7 families. Financial assistance, provision of travel and memorial support were immediately provided to several wives/partners of the fallen as the Raider Project was informed of specific needs.
In the summer of 2015, the Raider Project then met with the wives and the remaining team members to discuss their wishes.
On October 19th, 2015 the remaining funds were dispersed evenly between the 7 wives/partners of the fallen heroes.
In addition, Raider Project also hosted the Raising Raiders Crowdrise link on our pages to channel money directly to their organization and support the cause even further.
